Is my house worth being "professionally staged"?

Yes. Every home in Orange County has increased in value substantially.  Staging maintains the worth and balance of design. If you have already sold and are preparing to move to a new location in Orange County, why not start with the best help to coordinate, enhance the beauty and get ready to enjoy?  Many houses are in need of an update even when they are not on the market.   If you are planning to stay in your home, Stage-to-Live may be in order.

The housing market is good.  Does my house doesn’t need to be staged to sell?

Actually, the housing market has slowed; however, every house will sell…it's a matter of when and for how much. Even if your house sold quickly when we had a good market, it doesn't mean it sold for the amount it would have sold for had it been professionally staged.


Why can’t I just stage my own home?

You can.  We can provide a DIY (Do It Yourself) guide to help you.  However, generally sellers are not as successful as a professional.  For the small amount of spend, why take the chance?

Professionals are proficient because of experience and training.  We analyze homes differently than others.  The longer the homeowner lives in the home, the more accustomed to it they become.  They become comfortable and, as the home adjusts to them, it is difficult to change emotionally. In fact, the ability to imagine modification fades.  Since homeowners do not view the home objectively, they are unable to market and package it effectively. In addition, most home sellers don't "stage" homes everyday so the idea of staging their own home can be overwhelming. 


Can’t homebuyers use their imagination and look past the décor?

No. 90% cannot visualize the potential in a home. This is why having a vacant home professionally staged adds even more valuable.  Buyers do not visualize size and scale so well placed furniture gives them a frame of reference.
